There were several tracks that teams could choose, from AR to Machine Learning, to Fintech and Blockchain, and IoT.

The day kicked off by Tech Talks with leaders from various industries speaking about different technologies and opportunities and sharing knowledge. Our CPO, Anurag Arjun gave the crowd an Ethereum 101 session followed by Q&A.

Matic’s Hackathon use case: Create a DApp that allows users to pay merchants at restaurants & other places and split the bill between their friends using DAI as the medium of payment on Matic

Matic had announced a special prize for the winners of this bill splitting app.

And so the hackathon started. Out of total of 50+ teams, 15+ teams were working on blockchain ideas. Most of these teams were building applications on top of Ethereum, while some chose to work on other blockchains.

The Judges then interacted with each team to understand their solutions and evaluate their submissions.
